Database Development for E-commerce Platform

We are a leading e-commerce company based in London, United Kingdom, seeking a skilled freelance database developer to join our team. The project involves developing and optimizing our database infrastructure to handle large volumes of data and ensure efficient data retrieval. The ideal candidate should have a moderate level of experience in working with a variety of database management systems, including CockroachDB, Cassandra, and Google Spanner. Knowledge of ScyllaDB, Riak, and HBase would also be beneficial. Additionally, familiarity with ArangoDB, Elasticsearch, and etcd would be advantageous for implementing advanced search and indexing functionalities. Experience with MongoDB, Amazon DocumentDB, and Oracle Database is required for data storage and retrieval. The candidate should also be proficient in working with Amazon DynamoDB and Apache Solr for scalability and performance optimization. Knowledge of PostgreSQL is a plus.
